Inés firmly believes in social entrepreneurship as an engine of change and that is why in 2016 she founded Adalab, a social start up which promotes young women with employability difficulties, so that they become digital professionals. They do it through a comprehensive program, which includes intensive training in front-end web development, coaching in soft skills, mentoring and internships in partner companies. Adalab responds to a triple objective; to contribute to the reduction of youth unemployment, to reduce the gender gap in the tech sector, and to provide companies with the digital professionals they have difficulty finding.
Before becoming a social entrepreneur she worked as Country Director in Peru, Colombia and Vietnam for different NGOs, leading training and economic development programs with low-income population. Before that, she studied International Business between Madrid and Dublin and worked in the financial sector.
